The Arizona Basketball Coaches Association Legacy Tip-Off Classic First Responder Scholarship
This Scholarship is to honor families of First Responders. To qualify, the student must meet the following requirements:
Applicant must meet university admissions requirements
Applicant must pursue being a full-time student
Applicant must have a minimum of 2.0 GPA and be a current high school senior
The applicant shall demonstrate documented financial need as defined by the university’s office of financial aid
A high school administrator or coach must refer applicant
Applicant must be a student of a parent or parents (legal guardians) who are essential frontline workers/first responders, Physician, Nurse, Paramedic, Fireman, Police Officer, and/or other health-related professionals
Applicant must submit a one-page narrative on their personal and academic goals
Eligibility and scholarship recipients will be determined by the LEO Foundation Scholarship Committee. Scholarships will be awarded in spring 2023 for the 2023/2024 academic year.
Scholarship recipients must acknowledge their award in the form of an email thank you within three weeks of notification to mwinney@leofoundationusa.org.
