Whether it is your first, second or third gift this year, your annual fund contribution will make a significant impact in helping ensure all students who are accepted through LEO Foundation are able to attend school.
BHHS LEGACY NURSING & HEALTH RELATED SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship amount varies. It shall be awarded to student(s) who meet the following criteria:
- Candidate must be pursuing a degree in nursing or a health-related field;
- Candidate must meet university or college admissions requirements;
- Candidate must pursue being a full time student;
- Candidate shall demonstrate documented financial need as defined by the university or college Office of Financial Aid;
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA;
- Candidate must submit a one-page personal narrative;
- Candidate must submit a 300-word document on what Community Service mean to them and show how they have demonstrated the value of “service” in their lives through everyday life as well as within organizations, clubs, and services in which they have participated;
- Candidate must prepare and mail an acknowledgement/thank you to the LEO Foundation on behalf of BHHS Legacy Foundation Board of Directors expressing appreciation for the scholarship funding.
Eligibility and scholarship recipients will be determined by the LEO Foundation Scholarship Committee. Scholarships will be awarded in spring 2026 for the 2026/2027 academic year.
