AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS

LEO Foundation is an independent non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to provide educational opportunities and scholarships to students attending university with a traditional full-time status.
 
The LEO Foundation scholarship process for the 2022-2023 academic year is now closed.

their continued educational journey!
 
LEO Foundation scholarship applications for the 2023 -2024 academic year will be accepted
October 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023.
Please review the criteria and apply for each qualifying scholarship.

You may apply by filling out one or more applications from the scholarships listed below. All students are considered without regard to race, color, religion, age, national origin, or citizenship.

  • Alex Acosta Memorial Scholarship:
    Scholarship amount is $1,000.
    To qualify, the applicant must be a university undergraduate and a traditional ground campus student taking at least 12 hours per semester.

  • Arvizu Scholarship:
    Scholarship Amount: $1,000.
    To qualify, students must be of Latino heritage.

  • Faith Weese Scholarship:
    Scholarship Amount: Varies based on available funds.
    To qualify, applicants must submit a 300-word document on what Christian & Conservative Values and Community Service mean to them and how they have demonstrated the value of “service” in their everyday lives within organizations, clubs, and services in which they have participated.

    To qualify, applicants must be a university undergraduate, traditional ground campus student taking at least 12 hours per semester.

  • Tim Browning Memorial Scholarship:
    Scholarship Amount: $1,000.
    To qualify, applicant must write a 1-2 page essay describing how the loss of a parent impacted their life and their career aspirations.

    Scholarship Amount: $1,000.
    To qualify, applicant must be enrolled full-time as a traditional ground student with a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.

  • Arizona Basketball Coaches Association Legacy Tip-Off Classic First Responder Scholarship:
    Scholarship Amount: $1,000.
    To qualify, applicant must be a student of a parent or parents (legal guardians) who are essential frontline workers/first responders, Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics, Firemen, Police Officers, and/or other health-related professionals.

  • Arizona Basketball Coaches Association Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame admirHER Scholarship:
    Scholarship Amount: $2,500.
    To qualify, applicant must meet the athletic requirement of 4 years in women’s sport high school team participation and must also possess a varsity letter.
